The Elvish Nation of Silur was a member of the Civilized Commonwealth and a Dwarven puppet state after the partial invasion of Silur that began in 279 OW. It retained considerable local autonomy^[1] and was eventually allowed to raise its own military in the form of the Elvish National Army (though it was wholly under Dwarven administrative control, and utilized mostly in garrison and auxiliary roles).

The Elvish Nation was finally disbanded to become an imperial province in 453.
