Arabor was a mighty mine-citadel on Eisenhowl's northern coast. It was often honored as the home of all dwarves, and was the capital of the Dwarven Empire.

History

It was built by the new dwarven colony that founded the Dwarven Empire. It would forever stay as strongest stronghold and centerpiece of the entire empire. Norhandlebert Fireforge was born there in 1202 b. OW, Larn Fireforge in 789 b. OW, and others. It was the place of origin for the Dwarven Empire, the RDAWC (in 212 b. OW), dwarven machinery and gunpowder (both thanks to the RDAWC, the latter in 72 b. OW). A few gods were born or ascended there, like Lorn Fireforge 427-0 b. OW, Lauranodel 0 OW and Dain Fireforge, 106 b. OW). It fell to orcish armies in 0 OW. In three campaigns, the dwarves would attempt regaining it: the First Arabor Campaign in 73 OW, and the Third Arabor Campaign (which was successful) in 205 OW. It would loose importance in 460 OW with the building of the new capital, Khazadheim.^[1]
