Firbolg, sometimes called tree giants, were a half-giant fey race found across Ochebana.

History

A group of goliaths living in the Feywild slowly adapted to the place, growing affinity for nature and magic in the process while losing little of their physical might.

Thereafter, they spread across much of Ochebana, including notably Arborea, Thozeia and Oshmondu. They rarely were very numerous, not forming communities of their own but instead coexisting with fellow forest beings. In low-magic societies, they often fulfilled shaman, clerical, doctor or tutor roles.

Physiology

Firbolgs were quite traditional humanoids. They had a huge stature rivaled perhaps by goliaths, with which went considerable physical power and a powerful constitution. They also had a great affinity to both fey and druidic magic, allowing them to serve well as shamans or druids.

Firbolgs lived on average up to 130 years.
