Eilonora, also known as Beatrice 12 (given name), was an Ochebanian slave and rebel leader.

History

Slavery

Beatrice 12 was born to a slave mother and raised in a state orphanage near Derlusk, Balebu. At the age of 6, she was enrolled into service in various places including nobles' mansions, where she served as messenger girl, servant, and cleaning assistant.

At the age of 10, she was moved to an industrial complex on Fork Lake. She repeatedly violated regulations and was enrolled to harsher duties, until she was shifted at the age of 15 to a supervised farm. She was reportedly mistreated by the landowner, until she complained to authorities and became an assistant to Longhorn Bay Garrison HQ secretaries, where she quickly grew familiar with the workings of imperial administration. The location was unique in that it also served as a People Control post.

After further abuse, she fled at the age of 17 and made a living among peasants and artisans alike.

Nationalist Movement

She came into contact with nationalists while working with a merchant in the Fanged Plains region, and was quickly enthralled. Shiny-eyed nationalists pronounced ideals of popular representation, fairness, and rights for everyone. With her cunning mind, personal charm, and good knowledge of imperial workings, she rose through the ranks, until she became the leader of a radical splinter group that eventually managed to make her the chairman of a National Emergency Committee.

In this position, she influenced the delegates to appoint a nationalist president standing against the imperialist emperor, and saw herself given that position.

Presidency

Eilonora (having renamed herself during her nationalist campaigning) did not get to preside over a new government, as the imperialists moved to eradicate all nationalists. She moved back to the forests around the Ferdrskjisle, where she took command of a sizeable nationalist army after killing off rival generals with her two officer allies. Throughout the civil war, she won victory after victory, defeating imperialist armies and investing cities. Though she stood under the guidance of her generals, she was nevertheless hailed as a great leader and clearly a legitimate president.

Eventually, the nationalists declared they'd won the civil war, and Eilonora took up residence in a palace near Derlusk. Unluckily, she did not manage to display her administrative skills, as the empire was shattered and few decrees even reached the nationalist cities. Eventually, she gave up and fell back to a passive but luxurious life in the palace, with the protection of the elite guard and the company of her 20 elven attendants.

Her life came to a crumbling fall when a rebel host broke into the palace, setting it aflame, and discovered her in bed with three other women. She was brutally mistreated, crucified, and then burned on a pyre shortly before her elite guard broke through and killed the attackers.
