Londerhome was the capital city of the Ochebana Empire. It was located in central Balebu, on the western shore of Fork Lake.

History

Londerhome was founded when the Swordswinger Order constructed a small fortress called Longhorn Castle.

As the Order slowly grew more powerful and the number of its slaves grew, thatch houses began popping up in the fields surrounding the fort. The Order turned into an Empire, and Londerhome grew in time with its parent state. The city's prime location at the mouth of the continent's largest river and largest lake, along with its relative proximity to various resources such as mineral ore, allowed it to remain the largest city of the empire even when wealthy metropoles such as Longhorn Bay were included into the empire.

The city was home to many important families and people. Notably, the Londyr family called the capital home, and several emperors were born here. It was also the seat of imperial government.

In 228 OW, the Ochebana Empire collapsed, and the Dwarven Empire took over the settlement. It became one of the Dwarves' largest cities and saw many prominent dwarves take up residence in its glamorous buildings.

Heraldry

Londerhome's colors were red, gold and white; they were the imperial colors as well as the color of Longhorn Castle's walls.

Londerhomian heraldry was heavily inspired by the city's initial landmark and later legendary origin story, Longhorn Castle. The city crest featured the castle, and the war banner featured three white crenellations at the hoist symbolizing it.

Londerhomian military flags featured the three crenells at the hoist. The city's standard war banner was a horizontal bicolor with the crenells; local regiments and their subunits also displayed the crenells, for example the Londerhome Guard.
