The Holy Dwarven Empire was the final dynastic period of the Dwarven Empire; namely, the time from the death of High King Thaud Fireforge, when his daughter the Queens took control, to the primacy of the ascended Imily-Tur, until the end of the world.
Culture and Political Structure
The Holy Dwarven Empire was unique in that it was very close to the deities (hence "holy"). There was close contact with the dwarven gods as well as the Krynn. Starting in 400, there was actual holy presence; Nina Fireforge ascended to godhood in 452, and other gods came to the material plane in 460.
The new dwarven religion, Kerk'un, was monolithic in the Holy Dwarven Empire.
