The Einfarnaskell tribes, popularly known as Lost Tribes among Ferdskjonner of 1'000 b. OW, were the tribal people inhabiting the western slopes of the fells of Grerrfejken, in eastern Mjnfar.
History
It is unknown when, precisely, these peoples settled the region. Their presence interacting with coastal Ferdskjonner settlements is attested as early as 1'200 b. OW. They traded very little with Ferdskjonner, and remained isolated up until the Drubark invasion of 1'080.
Following the sacking and abandonment of the coastal villages, the Einfarnaskell peoples were fully cut off from human contact, subsisting on their own. They were recontacted in 1'045 b. OW, and became known as "Lost Tribes" due to their amazing lack of contact and very primitive ways.
Conflicts with new settlers emerged in the late 1'030s, primarily over settling and hunting land. Both Lost Tribe settlements were attacked in a short timespan from one another. Most folk were captured and brought to the town of Venfer, where they were sold into slavery. Einfarnaskell culture died at that moment.
Culture
Einfarnaskell people had their own way of life. They were very isolated, preferring very rare trade with humans also due to their geographic distance. They interacted about as much with the similarly isolated orcish hill people called Grerrfenork as they did with southern humans.
As a result, their technology and equipment was very primitive. Textiles were quite a luxury, for instance. Hunting and gathering, and very limited gardening in the form of influencing nature's growth, were the only source of food. They lived mostly on watersides, fishing and hunting in lakes, streams, and moors.
Grerrfenork influence was felt most of all in spiritual beliefs and practices. There might have been some exchange: it is believed the Grerrfenork and broader orcish variant of spirit-faith on eastern Mjnfar might have been drawn from the Lost Tribes.
