Emelyn Annikadottr was a guildswoman and politician in the Ferdrksjisle.

Appearance and Personality

Emelyn was described as a very determined woman. She initially struggled with too high ambitions and ruthlessness^[1], though she later matured and instead pursued goals in her personal interests, with some space for feelings on the side. She was also a very empathetic person, able to understand what other people wanted or needed even in very short conversations. She was initially very emotionally involved in things, but grew more detached with age.

Emelyn had straight blonde hair and emerald green eyes. Some described her as attractive, though the heavy loads she often placed onto herself could wear her down and make her look tired.

Biography

Emelyn was born in Venfer, on the Mjnfar peninsula. At the end of her mercantile journeymanship, she traveled to the primitive town of Trebkernstad, further east, where she served as an aide to Master Hellfar of Hellfar's Furs.

She became a master when she took over the company, after her former master's arrest. She tried to carve a dominion for herself out of the Mjnfar backwoods and then coup the city-chief to take power for herself, but her plan was foiled. ^[1]

Barely escaping death, she returned to Venfer, where she made a life as a guildswoman, building up the local Chain House guild and incorporating the Warehouse guild. She thrived under Drubark occupation during the Trekling Wars, and thereafter wielded considerable influence in the new jarl regime of Venfer.^[2]

She took an adoptive daughter, which she called Annika, in 627 b. OW.^[2]
