The continent of Litchy lied on Oshmondu. It occupied a central position in the western scene, and was a large landmass with many resources. It was shaped sometime around the end of the Celestial Wars.

Geographical Features

Biomes

Desert. Litchy was one of the most desertified landmasses on Oshmondu. It counted multiple large deserts (the Central desert, Lausand, and - after 800 b. OW - the Ramsand). Although most famously represented as vast expanses of dunes of sand, only some areas, such as the coastal Central desert and the Pant of Land, looked like this. Many others were simply arid regions with packed soils and some meagre trees whose hard and flat ground was auspicious for fast travel. In the north, tundras gradually turned into more dry and dusty land with small patches of grass. Known inhabitants of the desert were sand elves, silk-worms, and kaar'raa, whose chitin was prized.

Equatorial plains. The southern areas of Litchy, primarily the Yellow and Armurian plains, were Equatorial grassland. These were vast expanses of very flat terrain with moderately tall grass, featuring occasional patches of shrubbery or soft ground. The plains were home to a variety of animals, notably horses, a race useful as mounts native to Litchy. There were also mooders.

Tundra. Most of northern Litchy consisted of tundra. Flatland tundra was flat, featuring either dirt expanses interspersed with patches of orange grass and black pine, or - closer to foothills - bouldery hills and flat rock plains.

Geographical Connections

Litchy had three bridges to other locations. The smallest one was the Freezing fjord, rugged terrain of rocky and cold fjell leading into northeastern Silur. On the very eastern tip of Litchy, at the mouth of Glacier, lied an archipelago of glacier- and sea ice islands that led to Balantic. Finally, the Ironjaw fjell islands intermingled with the southeastern Greentree, forming a bridge to Bamea in the Archaen.
